My name is Hailey, I am a certified dog trainer. I have had a passion for animals for as long as I can remember but my genuine desire for dog training began when I got my first dog, Grizzly. Being fearful and reactive, he requires a significant amount of management in order to live a happy life. Each of my dogs had pushed me to be a trainer in different ways but Griz is the dog that sparked that fire in me to pursue a career in dog training. After working at a doggy daycare and boarding facility, volunteering at NOAH in Stanwood as a lead dog technician, and expanding my dog knowledge into the field of training, I went to school to get certified through The International Association for Animal Behavior Consultants as an accredited dog trainer; the Karen Pryor Puppy Start Right program, and through the International School for Canine Psychology! I am also certified for CPR, basic first aid for dogs and cats, and an AKC CGC and trick dog evaluator. I currently own 6 dogs, 2 cats, 2 bearded dragons and we dabble and compete in various sports such as nose work, rally, barn hunt, and disc. In my free time, I like to practice my photography skills by taking pictures of my dogs and my client’s dogs, gardening, and going to car shows!
